Annie McAllister Dwarica is an artist living and working in San Antonio, Texas. Art has been central to her life for as long as she can remember, serving as both a creative outlet and a source of confidence throughout her childhood while navigating dyslexia. She earned her degree in Visual Arts Studies from The University of Texas at Austin and spent the following ten years teaching art in schools, museums, and community settings to children of all ages.

After the birth of her second child, Annie chose to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a full-time independent artist. Her work centers on expressive landscape paintings that explore movement, atmosphere, and the emotional resonance of the natural world. Rooted in an intuitive process and a deep connection to nature, her paintings aim to create spaces of beauty, reflection, and calm.

At its heart, Finding My Way is about coming home. It is a reflection on identity, motherhood, faith, memory, and the courage to make space for the person you have always been beneath the many roles life asks you to carry. The collection is both a celebration of where Annie has been and an acknowledgment that finding your way is rarely a straight path.
